LOS ANGELES, Oct 4: Rage Against the Machine bassist Tom Commerford says the iconic band is not over yet and may perform again.
The rap metal band, formed in 1991, was famous for its politically outspoken music, imploring listeners to question everything and everyone, reported Rolling Stone magazine.
When asked if he would play at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame if they were ever inducted, Commerford said, “Anything’s possible. We are still a band, and we still might play again.
“We don’t have anything scheduled right now, but you never know what the future will bring.”
Tom Morello, the guitarist of the band, took to Twitter when a fan asked his views and wrote, “If we do I hope to be there.”
The group’s last album, “Renegades”, was released in 2000.
Commerford also said Rage singer Zack de la Rocha is hard at work on his long-delayed full-length solo album under the name One Day as a Lion. (PTI)
