JAMMU, Oct 31: J&K unit of Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) today staged protest demonstration against the previous PDP-BJP Government for its anti-youth policies and the sensational disclosure made by the Governor Satya Pal Malik regarding J&K Bank recruitment scam.
Led by Uday Singh Chib, State PYC president, the Youth Congress activists assembled outside J&K Bank Head Office, Jammu, near Panama Chowk, Railway Road and raised slogans against the previous PDP-BJP Government and Bank authorities for tampering the recruitment list. Chib lambasted the BJP for playing with the future of unemployed youth of the State.
“Corrupt political leaders in league with certain reckless officers had blown to smithereens all rules, regulations and procedure and appointed blue-eyed candidates in Government services on monetary considerations needed a high level probe,” Chib told reporters here.
“It is highly astonishing and shocking that even KAS officers were appointed through backdoor in the previous Government regime who even did not appear in exams. Certainly, the startling revelations had sent shock waves among the fraternity of hardworking aspirants and put a question mark on the integrity of the Public Service Commission of J&K”, Chib asserted.
Uday emphasized that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to give two crore jobs every year but instead of providing jobs the BJP leaders are playing with the sentiments and future of unemployed youth of J&K State and minting money by selling Government jobs. He said Governor has revealed t the final selection list of deserving candidates of Jammu and Kashmir Bank has been replaced with the political appointees, recommended by the leaders of previous PDP-BJP from every constituency. He demanded cancellation of all appointment letters disbursed to 582 candidates selected by J&K Bank.
Prominent among those who accompanied included- Ajaz Choudhary state vice president, state general secretaries Mudassir Choudhary, Ranjit Chopra and Amir Banday; senior members Avyjot Singh, Shabir Kholi, Jagjoot Singh, Nakul Sharma, Wasim Sarrori, Diveyansh Jamwal, Naveed Khawaja, Arjun Sharma, Neeraj Choudhary, Nishant Gupta, Jagpreet Singh, Rajat Manhas, Sunny Choudhary, Happy Randhava, Pardeep Chib, and others.
