Pulses prices remain steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, Aug 24:  Steady conditions prevailed on the wholesale pulses market today as prices moved in a narrow range in restricted activity and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept prices steady.
The following were today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,400-3,800, Urad Chilka (local) 4,500-4,800, best 4,900-5,400, Dhoya 5,400-5,600, Moong 5,050-5,450, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,550-5,950, Moong Dhoya local 5,750-5,850 and best quality 6,400-6,500.
Masoor small 4,250-4,450, bold 4,400-4,500, Dal Masoor local 4,950-5,050, best quality 5,000-5,100, Malka local 4,850-4,950, best 5,050-5,150, Moth 3,200-3,800, Arhar 4,050-4,450, Dal Arhar Dara 5,750-5,950.
Gram 3,200-3,850, Gram Dal (local) 3,600-3,800, best quality 3,700-3,800, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,510, Rajdhani 1,510, Rajmah Chitra 8,500-10,600, Kabli Gram small 3,800-5,800, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 4,000-5,100, Peas white 2,900-2,950 and green 3,000-3,150. (PTI)
