This has reference to “Protect Chanchalo Devi Forest Wildlife”. The author has rightly discussed the present and future scenario of wildlife in the state. The condition of wildlife and our forests is not good enough to survive in long run. Its not the lion, its not the tiger, its not the bear who are wild, beast, and dangerous but its man who is dangerous among all. Human being is the most dangerous, self centered, and mean type of creature on earth. To meet his petty benefits he never looks behind. We should not forget that God has not created only beings but forests, wildlife etc. are also part of this universe and their conservation is equally important.
Now, question arises who will save our environment. Its not me, its not you, but its collective responsibility of Govt. NGOs, local community surrounding the forest area and each and every individual who can join hands to save our precious environment.
By writing in newspapers and discussing in debates is not the solution. Govt. should frame strict laws and norms and forest protection force should be made more accountable and responsible about their duty by giving them adequate training and knowledge about our environment. Otherwise, it will be too late to save our environment. In the end, I would like to say we are because of our environment, not our environment is because of us. So pay each and every penny to save it.
