Principal PT School holds darbar of trainees

KATHUA, Sept 30: Ramesh Kumar Bhat, SP, Principal SPS Police Training School Kathua today held a darbar of trainees of pre-promotion course in the Parade Ground of this institution in view of present security scenario and also to have an interaction with them after four weeks of training.  482 trainees of pre-promotion course along with Outdoor/Indoor instructors and Admn staff of this institution were present in the darbar.
Besides, senior police officers of SPS PTS Kathua i.e. Rajesh Gill, CPO, Asstt. Principal (Indoor), Kuldeep Raj Tripathi,  Dy.SP Asstt. Principal (Admn), Ramnish Kumar, Dy.SP Asstt. Principal (Outdoor), Manzoor Hussain, Dy.SP (Indoor) and Amit Putto, Asstt. Surgeon were also present in the darbar.
At the outset of darbar Principal PTS Kathua R.K.Bhat, SP expressed grief over the killing of Police/Army jawans/officers during recent terrorist attack on Police Station Hiranagar and Army Camp Samba. Two minutes silence was observed as a tribute in honour of departed souls. The trainees were briefed to remain alert  and be prepared to react to any eventuality effectively in time, so that nefarious designs of the Anti National Elements are foiled.
During darbar trainees were briefed to take interest in their training particularity on physical/mental fitness and professionalism and perform their duties with dedication and devotion in challenging situations. It was stressed upon all the trainees to show highest degree of discipline which has been  exhibited by J&K Police  during past two decades in face of militancy. Trainees were further briefed to attend all the indoor (law classes) and outdoor physical, weapon training with zeal and vigor to qualify for next promotion. The main stress was laid to improve the physical and intellectual standard of trainees.
During darbar Principal SPS PTS Kathua also listened to the genuine grievances of the trainees and issued necessary instructions to the concerned on the spot to mitigate them for the welfare of trainees.
