Power, water supply dominate problems of border people: Luthra

RS PURA, July 17: National Conference (NC) State Women Wing Vice President, Bimla Luthra has called for synergised efforts to redress grievances of the people, especially on account of public utility services.
“The challenges are manifold, especially in rural and border areas where people are suffering the most on account of power and drinking water supply in these summer days,” Luthra said addressing NC women workers at village Pandi Sarocha, Suchetgarh.
She said the people of the area were craving for development and hoped that synergised efforts by the administration and people will manifest in fast track development of the area.
The NC leader exhorted party workers to intensify their public outreach to different areas for identifying the problems faced by the people and seek their redressal at appropriate levels.
Luthra said that NC is committed to serve the people and to ensure peace, progress and development in all the three regions.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were Naresh Bittu, Ranjit, Savita, Bharti, Jyoti, Raji, Darshana Devi and others.
