JAMMU, Oct 10: In order to carry out the preventive maintenance of Grid Station Akhnoor as well as replacement of damaged LA’s, burn out jumpers, etc, the shutdown of 132 KV S/C Gladni-Kalakote Transmission line, 132 KV D/C Barn-Akhnoor and 132/33 KV G/S Akhnoor are allowed on October 11 and 18 from 7.30 am to 1.30 pm.
During the shutdown period, power supply to district Rajouri and Poonch along with Tehsil Akhnoor shall be affected.
Similarly, in order to carrying out the work of PCC pole erection and installation of HT/LT cable, the shutdown of D-5, WZ-1, D-4 and J-15 feeders are allowed from October 15 to 21 (excluding holiday) from 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm.
During the shutdown period, power supply to Peerkho, Paccki Dhaki, Jullaka Mohalla, Hari Mohalla, Lower Gujjar Nagar, DC Office, Ambphalla and Karan Nagar shall be affected.
In order to carry out the rectification of hotspots routine/preventive maintenance in Grid Station, Barn and Barn-Kishenpur transmission line, shut down is required on 220 KV Barn-Kishenpur Transmission Line and 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Barn on October 11 from 7 am to 1 pm.
During the shutdown period power supply to Grid Station, Canal, Pounichak, Katra, Rajouri, Draba, Jourian and Barn shall remain off. The area affected shall be district Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch and part of District Jammu.
The shutdown of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Ramban along with 220 KV D/C KPTL both Circuits will be observed on October 11 from 9 am to 3 pm to carry out preventive maintenance of Grid Station Ramban and Transmission line.
During the shutdown period, the power supply to entire Ramban district, Ramsoo, Sangaldan, Chanderkote including BHEP Batote, Assar and Southern part of Kashmir shall remain affected.
