Potato futures up on spot demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 10: Potato prices rose by another Rs 10.80 to Rs 1,396.20 per quintal in futures trade today as participants enlarged positions on the back of rising demand in the spot markets against restricted arrivals.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, potato for delivery in May rose by Rs 10.80, or 0.77 per cent, to Rs 1,396.20 per quintal, with trading volume of 187 lots.
