RAJOURI, May 10: With the arrest of one person, the police claimed to have solved a multi-ATM theft cases in Rajouri district.
Reports said Police Station Kandi, led by SHO, Rajveer Singh achieved success today by apprehending an accused involved in several ATM theft cases. The arrested accused has been identified as Sakinder Shah, son of Manwar Shah, resident of Draj village in Tehsil Koteranka.
In this regard a Case FIR No. 45/2026, under sections 318(3) 323 303(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Kandi.
Acting promptly on reliable inputs, a police team from Kandi arrested the accused. Further investigation into the matter is underway to ascertain involvement in other related theft cases.
