Gupta demands continuous traffic policing, strict enforcement

JAMMU, May 10: NC leader, Rajesh Gupta has said that roads in Jammu are witnessing a long overdue change with visible and active traffic policing.
Interacting with media personnel here today, he noted that traffic personnel are now actively fining the violators and guiding commuters, reflecting the impact of sustained public pressure.
Gupta said that Jammu has often seen brief enforcement drives followed by long periods of silence, stressing that the city needs a permanent culture of discipline where violations should invite strict penalties.
He suggested deploying additional forces like the J&K Armed Police in peak hours and sensitive zones.
