JAMMU, July 23: Police today seized 42 nips of illicit liquor, while the bootlegger managed to flee from the spot.
Police spokesman said that, a party from Hirnagar police station on reliable inputs, conducted a raid at village Pathwal and intercepted a motorcycle without registration number. During checking, police recovered 42 nips of illicit liquor from the possession of motorcyclist Ravi Kumar, son of Romesh Chander of Marheen. The motorcyclist managed to flee from the spot.
A case under FIR No 112/12 stands registered at police station Hiranagar and manhunt was on to nab him.
