REASI, July 21: Police today foiled on attempt of bovine smuggling in Pouni area and rescued four animals besides arresting the accused.
During a routine checking at Reyalla Jagir, a police Party headed by SHO Pouni Sanjay Abrol, intercepted the accused namely Abdul Rehman of Teryala, tehsil Bhakori in Rajouri, who was smuggling these bovine animals to Rajouri without any legal documents.
Police arrested the accused and rescued the animals. In this connection, case FIR No. 38/2017 U/S 3 PC Act, 188 RPC has been registered at P/S Pouni.
