JAMMU, Jan 6: A delegation of All JK +2 Lecturers’ Forum under the leadership of R S Slathia and Pardeep Singh Rakwal called on senior leader of BJP, Devender Singh Rana and briefed him regarding many issues confronting the Plus 2 cadre.
The main issue that was raised by the delegation was immediate regularization of I/C lecturers in Science stream including those who have acquired their degrees from distance mode.
The delegation also raised the issue of grant of ACP in favour of +2 cadre as they are constrained to work in the same grade for years together denying them the benefit of running grade or Time Bound promotion.
Rana, after patient hearing, talked to Principal Secretary SED, Alok Kumar, telephonically on the spot, the Principal Secretary assured Rana that all incharge lecturers including those who have acquired degrees through distance mode in Science stream in the light of above mentioned Govt. Orders would be regularised by or before March 31,2023. The Principal Secretary also assured Rana that ACP will also be granted by March 2023.
The delegation thanked Devender Singh Rana for his support for the most elite but deprived cadre of the society.
