PDP leader Ramesh Kaul passes away

JAMMU, Jan 6: Ramesh Kaul, Member Political Affairs Committee People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) the highest decision making body of the party and former chairman of its Migrant Cell breathed his last here this morning after cardiac arrest. He was 71.
Son of former Revenue Minister and veteran Congress leader, Manohar Nath Kaul, Ramesh Kaul had joined PDP due to his father’s close association with former Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed in late nineties. He was associated with Amar Singh Club Jammu and has remained its Executive Member also.
Ramesh Kaul was associated with social service in his hometown Anantnag right from his student days. He is survived by his mother, wife and two daughters. His cremation will take place on January 7 at Jogi Gate Cremation Ground at 11-30 am. PDP chief and former Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, former Ministers, Abdul Rehman Veeri and Dr Mehboob Beg and other senior party leaders have expressed their profound grief and shock over the demise of Ramesh Kaul and termed it a great loss to party. They expressed their deepest sympathies with bereaved family.
