JAMMU, Sept 15: Appreciating modern techniques of junior playway schools, BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi today said that learning has been made easy for the young children and by attending junior schools kids become better prepared for regular schooling.
He said play way method encourages hidden talent and modern teaching aids go a long way developing mindset of the toddlers.
“Modern tools and techniques used in junior schools are a sure help to the young minds of toddlers, who are encouraged to learn in a very play way and lucid manner,” he added.
Yudhvir was speaking at the Inter School Storytelling cum Poem reciting competition organised by Daffodils Care Convent School Channi Himmat, here. He was Chief Guest at the function.
Different schools who participated in the competition include, Daffodils Care Convent School Channi Himmat, Air Force School, Satwari, Daffodils Care Convent School Jain Bazar and Jammu Sanskriti School Ismailpur.
The Prize winner students of Air Force School, Satwari were, Satvik, Soumya, Aryan and Aarav in poem recitation and Kevi, Vansh, Vanshika, and Prapti in storytelling.
Students of Daffodils Care Convent School Jain Bazar who won in the poem recitation include Priyal, Sianat, Ananya, Pearl and Tanish and Bhavya, Manya kohli, Agriya, Madhwan and Kritin won in storytelling.
Sahil, Aahaan, Saisha and Pihu from Daffodils Care Convent School Channi Himmat were declared winners and Students from Jammu Sanskriti School who won in poem recitation included Harangadpreet, Shreya, Akinchan and Janvi and Harchit Singh, Sachkiral, Ranveen Singh and Vanshika in storytelling.
The teaching fraternity who were present on the occasion include, Raman Vice Principal Air Force School, Satwari, Nidhi Vice Principal Jammu Sanskriti School, Ismailpur, Narinder Gupta MD Daffodils Care Convent, Shikha Puri Principal Daffodills Care Convent School, Jain Bazar and Manpreet Kour Daffodils Care Convent School, Channi Himmat.
Suraj Gupta Retired SE PDD, Ashok Sahni Parsar Bharti Yog Sansthan, Vishal Kohli BJYM, Pankaj Verma BJYM, Sunil Mahajan, Rakesh Kumar, and Sunny Wazir were among the prominent who attended the event.
