NEW DELHI, Dec 21: Renowned author and former MP Tarun Vijay today presented his book on Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee to Speaker of the Lok Sabha (LS) Om Birla, who has written foreword for the book.
The book is gigantic pictorial biography of Dr Mookerjee, with his 100-year-old family photo albums and almost faded and trashed negatives that were given a new life after painstaking advanced technological digital treatment.
It has 500 hitherto unseen pictures of Dr Mookerjee from his childhood till his last journey to Kewadatsla Cremetorium Kolkata, spread in more than 350 pages of A3 size hard bound coffee table book that weighs approximately two kg.
Earlier, the book was received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence.
