JAMMU, July 11: To raise voice against the authorities concerned for various issues which the common man of every section of the society is facing, a social organisation has been framed with the name ‘Peoples Welfare Civil Society (PWCS)’.
Addressing a press conference here today Suresh Sharma informed that 21 executive members have been nominated in PWCS wherein he (Suresh Sharma), Subash Verma and Pardip Sharma were unanimously nominated for drafting bylaws.
Subhash Verma and Pardip Sharma flayed the LG led administration for not regularizing daily wagers, irregular power cuts, Property Tax, Water Tax, stoppage of pension for old age people and widows and physically challenged people, non-release of scholarship to the deserving students, non-clearance of pending SRO-43 case etc.
They said that recently JKSSB ordered recruitment by decaderization of divisional cadre employees of Health Department to State cadre by clubbing posts of both divisions has resulted in great disparity with qualified youth of Jammu.
“Advertisements should have been made division-wise against available vacant posts so there might be no disparity with any region. We demand reviewing of this irrational amendment and demand recruitment of Jammu youth against the vacancies in Jammu,” they maintained seeking immediate attention of LG administration towards people’s grievances.
Other PWCS members present in the press conference were Satish Sharma, Gurmeet Singh, K.C Dubey, Manjoor Ahamad, Ram Lubhya, S. Surjit Singh, Vijay Kumar, Jarnail Singh, K.K Koushal, B.N Singh, Tilak Raj Sharma, Mohd Shafi, Ranjit Singh and others.
