UDHAMPUR, July 3: People have demanded repair and blacktopping of road near Military Hospital here, which connects several villages.
This is the main road which leads to Military Hospital, Rehmti village, Gangera hills and posh Housing Colony of Udhampur, the locals said.
They added that thousands of people commute on this road on daily basis and presently it is in deplorable condition, the locals said, adding that condition of road deteriorates further in the rainy season.
In rainy season, it becomes almost impossible to commute on this road, they said, adding that despite repeated requests, no one from the administration paid heed to it.
Parvesh Parihar and Gulshan Singh have appealed to the District Administration Udhampur to repair and blacktop the road for the convenience of the masses.
