Peace rally taken out in solidarity with Christians killed in Peshawar

JAMMU, Sept 23: Christian community people today took out a peace rally in solidarity with the Christian’s, who were killed in terror attack at a Church in Peshawar, in which at least 90 people were killed and hundreds were injured.
The peace rally started from Christian Colony, Residency Road, in which hundreds of Christian community people took part and prayed for eternal peace to the souls, who were killed in this barbaric incident.
While speaking, Rev Fr Kuriakose, Priest-in-Charge said that the attack took place at a place of worship and claimed the lives of innocent worshippers making this senseless act of violence even more tragic.
He asked the Pakistan Government to provide fool-proof security to the Christian community and strict action against the people behind this barbaric incident.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Christian Association president Advocate Wazir Gill condemned the attack on historic All Saints Church at Kohati Gate, Peshawar, Pakistan, in which around 90 persons were killed and hundreds were injured.
Wazir appealed to the Prime Minister and President of Pakistan to provide security cover to the Christians.
