JAMMU, July 22: In connection with the preparations for the forthcoming Foundation Day function of the party on July 29, a meeting was held today at People’s Democratic Party (PDP) office, Gandhi Nagar under the leadership of FCS&CA Minister, Choudhary Zulfikar Ali.
All senior leaders of the party were present in the meeting in which it was decided that Foundation Day of the party would be celebrated in a big way at all district headquarters. It was informed in the meeting that main function would be held at Srinagar, all district units would celebrate the Foundation day.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch Zulfikar said that formation of PDP by Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, was turning point in the political history of J&K as this party has emerged as voice of the people. He said that PDP has earned trust and faith of the people of J&K through its policies and programmes.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included, Ved Mahajan, Vijaya Dogra, Bhushan Lal Dogra, TS Bajwa, Daman Bhasin, Fallail Singh, Satpal Singh Charak, Capt Anil Gour, Romesh Koul, Hussain Ali Wafa, Abdul Rashid Malik, Rajinder Manhas, FC Bhagat and Balbir Singh.
