PDP demands adequate facilities on Maha Shivratri

JAMMU, Feb 21: PDP Migrant Wing here today urged the Government to ensure adequate facilities for Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) on Maha Shivratri festival falling on February 25, 2025.
In a meeting of PDP Migrant Wing chaired by the Wing president, Sunil Bhat, the leaders demanded that prices of essential commodities needs to be put under control in migrant camps and non-camps. They also urged for the cash assistance to be given to the migrants in advance.
The demand of adequate supply of essential commodities besides uninterrupted supply of water and electricity was also raised along with the demand of services from the departments like JMC, Power, Jal Shakti, Horticulture, Sheep and Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.
The meeting was attended by R.K Pardesi, Bharat Bhushan, Bansi Lal Koul, Veer Ji Raina, Vijay Pandit, Anu, Satish Pajnu, Bansi Lal Mukhi, Bimal Wantoo, P.N Zutshi, P.N Pandita, Ravinder Jamwal, Pawan Puttu, Suraj Tak, Amit Dhar, Bal Krishan Hazari, Dalip, Kamal Dhar, Ramesh and M.K Dhar.
