JAMMU, Nov 10: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today decided to support Saraf Singh, who has been contesting election as Independent candidate from Reasi Assembly segment.
Saraf Singh, a KAS officer, who has taken voluntary retirement from service to serve his people, belongs to remotest and backward area of Reasi district.
In a statement issued here today, PDP spokesman said that party has decided to support Saraf Singh due to his honesty, commitment and sincere approach to serve his people.
Party spokesman further said that the PDP leadership has directed party workers to work for the victory of Saraf Singh and provide every possible help to the Independent candidate.
