UDHAMPUR, Sept 9: A delegation of social activists today called on X-En PDD Chamail Singh and submitted him a memorandum demanding immediate change of two badly damaged 11kv electric poles near Slathia Chowk. .
They explained that these two poles are in such a bad condition that they can fall on ground any time resulting into a big mishap. Since Dhar Road is one of the busiest roads of the town and such kind of negligence can result into a big tragedy, the Department needs to immediately replace the damaged poled, they added.
The delegation comprised of Abhishek Sharma, Vishal Mahajan, Vikas Sharma and Dheeraj Verma who said that the X-En assured early action over their demand.
