Jammu, July 2: Pradesh Congress Committee has termed the episode of off boarding three passengers from an Air India flight from Leh to Delhi, on June 24 in order to accommodate Union MoS for Home, Mr Rijju and his aide, as highly shameful and against the basic spirit of democracy and demanded high level enquiry into the matter.
Reacting to the media reports in this regard bringing to light the highly ‘dictatorial’ and VVIP culture of the Minister, PCC chief spokesman Ravinder Sharma said that this reflects the mindset of the ruling leaders of the party (BJP), which always claimed to a party with a difference.
He said that this incident comes within two days of a similar incident in which the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr Fadnavis is also reported to have behaved in a most irresponsible manner to delay the international flight to accommodate his aide.
