PCC leader passes away

JAMMU, July 27: PCC leader and convener of Migrant Cell of the party, Gulam Qadir Bhat breathed his last today at his ancestral village Dadsora Tral in South Kashmir district of after brief illness.
He was a strong Congress ideologue and a secularist who served the party for decades. He even worked during the last three decades of turmoil in bridging the gulf between the minority Kashmiri Pandits and Majority Muslim community in Valley. PCC president, G M Mir, party senior leader and former Minister, Raman Bhalla, its spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma and Migrant Cell chairman, H L Pandita have expressed profound shock and grief over his demise and termed It a great loss to Congress party in general and Migrant Cell in particular.
