UDHAMPUR, May 26: Pawan Kumar Gupta MLA Udhampur Assembly Constituency today inaugurated the renovated lane in W.No.11 Udhampur.
On the occasion, a function was organised in the area in which a large number of people participated. While addressing the function, Satish Chopra divulged that the condition of the said lane was dilapidated and he had taken up the matter with the MLA for its renovation. He further complimented the MLA for fulfilling long pending demand of the public.
The people of the area drew attention of the MLA towards other dilapidated lanes which require immediate renovation. Gupta issued on spot instructions to the authorities of Urban Local Bodies for framing of estimates of such lanes on priority basis.
While speaking on the occasion, Pawan Gupta expressed his dismay over callous attitude of previous leadership towards developmental activities due to which problems of the people swelled manifold. However he assured the public to make all efforts for sustained development of whole Udhampur Constituency.
Gupta took to task Dy. Chief Minister and said that despite having charge of Ministry he could not arrange sufficient funds for launching developmental activities in urban areas of Jammu Region. He also took to task the local BJP leadership for their failure on all fronts.
CEO Municipal Council Udhampur Santosh Kotwal, Er. Ravi Kumar, Udhampur Constituency Incharge Raj Kumar Bucha, Ashok Jagotra, Rohit Sethi, Parshotam Singh, Paras Ram, Ashok Kumar, Niraj Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar were also present on the occasion.
