UDHAMPUR, May 26: A protest demonstration was held under the leadership of Congress leader and INTUC State secretary, Sumeet Magotra, against the PHE Department for irregular supply of water.
While addressing protesters, Magotra said that for last few days there is no supply of water in the town and it has also been seen that polluted water is being supplied to the people of the town.
He said that Modi Government is making people fool by giving slogans like ‘Swachh Bharat’ because they are not able to provide even clean water to the people.
Magotra warned the department to resolve the issue as soon as possible or else they will call for a bigger protest and the PHE Department will be responsible for this.
