Srinagar, Sept 11: With Paras Healthcare setting up a 200-bed hospital in the Dalgate area of Srinagar, it today informed about the agreement with Fujifilm India for bringing the latest diagnostic technologies in the health sector to Jammu and Kashmir.
In this regard, the spokesperson of Paras Healthcare Pvt Ltd—which has a chain of hospitals providing specialized tertiary medical care across the country—said that under the agreement, Fujifilm India will provide innovative medical and screening devices at the hospitals of Paras Healthcare in J&K.
Under the long-term pact, Fujifilm will supply a wide range of high-end and sophisticated medical devices, including artificial intelligence-based machines, to the network of hospitals run by Paras Healthcare.
It is to be noted here that the departments at different Paras hospitals including that of the one coming up in Srinagar will be benefited from the collaboration, especially in IT, radiology devices like X-ray imaging devices, ultrasound systems, MRI & CT, endoscopy, specialized in-vitro diagnostics, among others.
At the same time, under the agreement, Fujifilm India will be installing its Artificial Intelligence (AI) modules of medical imaging, 128 slices cardiac CT, 1.5 T MRI, 32 Slice CT, Full-Field Digital Mammography (FFDM), Smart X, Arietta 65, EUS EBUS system, video endoscope, mobile DR, etc at the hospitals of Paras Healthcare.

Koji Wada, Managing Director of Fujifilm India, said through this association, the company aims to “provide superior technological medical facilities that can help save lives and encourage patients to become more engaged in their care”.
Under the agreement, Paras healthcare as well as Fujifilm India are aiming to provide high-end technological medical facilities which will help in saving lives.
