Many joining Azad on his development plank: Manohar

KATHUA, Sept 11: Former Minister of State (MoS), Dr Manohar Lal today claimed that many people from Billawar area are joining Azad camp as he had ensured massive development in J&K as Chief Minister.
Addressing public meeting at Billawar in which people from all walks of life participated and interacted with him, Manohar said there is tremendous response after the return of Azad to J&K politics. He said there is huge enthusiasm among the people and many are joining his new party being launched shortly.
Manohar said a large number of BJP workers from Billawar area today joined Azad camp, while reposing full faith in his leadership of Azad. Manohar said Azad has delivered his best in J&K as Chief Minister and the people still remember those golden days. He ensured equitable development in both the regions in every sector. He is getting tremendous support wherever he is going.
While speaking Rajinder Kumar Verma and Dayal Singh termed the era of Dr Manohar Lal Sharma as `golden period’ for the people of Billawar. While speaking they said many developmental projects were started and accomplished when Dr Manohar Lal was MLA and Minister from Billawar. Many schools were upgraded, roads constructed and work on many PMGSY roads approved. Even many new Water Supply Schemes were lauhched.
Meanwhile, Anil Bhardwaj, media coordinator Youth Congress and SP Chandel along with Rangeel Singh, Rattan Singh, Babu Ram, Ayub Khan, Uttam Chand, Raj Singh, Susheel Gupta, Mohan Lal, Bhagwan Singh, Tirath Singh & others joined Azad camp.
Meanwhile, Subash Gupta (Ex- MLC) and Davinder Singh Bindu, senior leader today submitted memorandum to LG through District Development Commissioner Kathua pushing for early compensation to farmers for their damaged crops. They also projected other demands of fertilizers and good quality seeds.
