Panthers Trade Union highlights grievances, demands of Ukhral

JAMMU, Aug 23: Panthers Trade Union (PTU) has warned the State Government against not fulfilling the promises on providing Degree College Ukhral, creation of new Tehsil Ramsoo and Niabat Chamlwas and also CD Block Neel.
Addressing media persons, here today,   Sewa Singh Bali,  State general secretary Panthers Trade Union (PTU), said that  the previous Government had  announced to  establish  new Degree College at Ukhral,  creation of new tehsil Ramsoo and  Niabat at Chamalwas but the till date the Government did not  fulfill its commitment.
He even accused the present Government of  ignoring Ukhral in every field and alleged that  inhabitants of Ukhral were being deprived of  all the basics necessities.
Sewa Singh Bali warned to launch an agitation against the Government if  step motherly treatment against the area continues.  He also  appealed to youth, students, transporters, shopkeepers and general public of Pogal Paristhan to unite and protest against the State Government.
Highlighting several local demands,   Mr  Bali  urged the  Education Minister to establish a Girls Higher Secondary School at Ukhral and change the staff of GHSS Ukhral for proper functioning of the school. He also demanded providing of 100 days job to job card holders under MGNREGA.
Sewa Singh Bali said that he had already submitted a memorandum of demands to the Chief Minister who has assured to consider the genuine issues.
Other who were present in the press conference,  included Bansi Lal Sharma, Padam Dev Singh, Kuldeep Singh and  Naveen Bali.
