JAMMU, Aug 23: A man reportedly an employee of Jammu Club, Jewel, today died in mysterious circumstances after he complained of vomiting and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Vijay Kumar (45), a resident of Khour in Akhnoor Tehsil of Jammu district, complained of vomiting following which his colleagues at Jammu Club rushed him to GMCH Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After conducting postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. A case under 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection at police station Nowabad and further investigation are on.
