BHADARWAH Sept 14: Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief, Ravinder Raina today blamed Pakistan for the killing of young Kashmiri Police Officer, Arshid Ahmed. He said that his martyrdom would not go in vain.
Addressing media at Bhadarwah where he after leading a bike rally of the workers, addressed a meeting of party functionaries at community Hall Kotli.
BJP leaders including vice president and former Minister, Shakti Raj Parihar, Baldev Singh Billawaria, former MLA, Dilip Singh Parihar, DDC chairman, Dhantar Singh , district president, Swami Raj, DDC vice chairman, Sangeeta Bhagat , Shashi Goswami senior leader Manjit Razdan and other leaders attended the meeting.
“Pakistani terrorists have once again bled the Kashmir Valley. The coward Pakistanis attacked Arshid a young, dedicated and committed police officer. His martyrdom will not go in vain and our forces will soon give a befitting reply to the terrorists,” Raina said adding that Pakistan is the biggest enemy of Muslims in entire world and they want nothing but continuous blood shed in Kashmir.
While commenting on the time frame of holding elections in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP president said,” Delimitation Commission will submit it’s report in two – three months and after that election process will definitely start as BJP is already in election mode and I’m quiet sure we will win the election with thumping majority and will form the next Government in Jammu and Kashmir.”
Addressing the meeting later Raina highlighted the development process started in J&K especially the remote and far-flung areas by BJP Government led by Narendra Modi. He said the far-flung areas of UT were neglected by successive Congress, NC and PDP Governments and it is BJP which launched several welfare schemes and development projects in these areas for the betterment of people.
Addressing the meeting Shakti Raj Parihar spoke about region specific development projects on which work is going on war footing and those which are in pipe line. He also talked about the benefit given to the people living in far flung and remote areas of UT. He said the new projects and schemes brought for the erstwhile Doda district will prove game changer for this region.
Later a function was held where renowned educationist and national award winning teacher Farid Ahmed Fani joined the party.
