JMC signs MoU for integration of services with Digital Seva Portal

JAMMU, Sept 14: Jammu Municipal Corporation and CSC (Common Services Centre) e-Governance Services India Limited signed an MoU for integration of citizen centric services of Housing & Urban Development Department with Digital Seva Portal so that it can be accessed by citizens through CSCs regulated by CSC SPV as optional mode.

The MoU was signed by Commissioner JMC, Avny Lavasa, in presence of Joint Commissioner (A), Pankaj Gupta; Joint Commissioner (R&E), Hitesh Gupta and Informatics Officer, Ankush Kapoor with Shahnawaz Rashid, Asstt Vice President, Common Services Centre.
The Role of CSC SPV will be to provide assistance to the citizens for filling online application and also to provide IT infrastructure required for accessing the services to the citizens. The charges for providing online services to the citizens shall be fixed in consultation with Jammu Municipal Corporation. The services to be provided by CSC to the citizen include scanning of their documents and collection of fee in cash. No extra charge other than fixed charges shall be charged by CSC from public.
Besides, payment gateway of CSC SPV will be integrated with Service Plus citizen’s portal and citizens will access the online service through CSCs and can make online payment with CSC SPV Digital Wallet.
The daily report will be sent to JMC by CSC SPV with regard to the filling of applications and it shall also display rate list at suitable place for the knowledge of public.
Besides, Jammu Municipal Corporation will coordinate to integrate the CSC SPV online API with service plus portal to enable secure access to CSCs and shall also provide report to CSC SPV for the applications filled through CSCs for record purpose and will inform CSC SPV after making any new service online to advertise it among CSCs through its various channels.
Meanwhile, JMC Commissioner today conducted the tour of Ward number 71 where the local Councilor, Shama Akhtar apprised her about the problems being faced by people due to no road connectivity. The Commissioner directed the concerned Executive Engineer to prepare the estimates for road. She also visited Government Primary School in the area and directed the Executive Engineer to do needful for improvement in the school building.
