SAMBA, Nov 1: An airplane-shaped Pakistani balloon was found in Nud block of Samba district this evening which created a stir and panic in the surrounding areas.
The local people immediately informed the police about it. Police reached the spot and took balloon in its possession. The police also started an investigation in the matter.
According to the information, this evening in a field in Tanth village of Nud block, about 25 km away from the International Border of Samba, Darshan Kumar, son of Desraj, a local resident, saw a Green and White balloon in the shape of an airplane with Pakistan written on it in his fields. Apart from Pakistan, BHN and Emirates were also written on the top of the balloon in English. Besides, informing the people about this, information was also given to the police. No suspicious device of any kind was found in the balloon. Still it is being investigated, police said.
The police reached the spot and took possession of the balloon. At present, the police is trying to find out where from and how this balloon came at this side.
