JAMMU, Oct 12: A painting competition was organized at Government Higher Secondary School, Sulmerhi, district Udhampur on the topic “Road Safety Measures”.
In the competition around 20 students of Middle, Secondary and Higher Secondary Classes participated.
This Competition was organized in the school for creating awareness about the safe driving and walking on the road.
All the participants made the colourful paintings about the safe road traveling and avoiding the reckless driving by the drivers and also laid stress to follow the traffic rules while traveling and crossing the road.
The first prize was bagged by Dheeraj Singh (class 7th), second prize by Khushboo (class 7th) and third prize by Gourakh Singh (class 12th).
Principal of the school, Neeru Bala distributed the prizes among the winners.
