Unbelievable that like most of the cinema houses across the country , our Jammu cinema houses had a field day on Jan25 when screening of the controversial movie Padmavat saw halls packed to capacity. In fact, many had to feel disappointed over not being in a position to get tickets for the shows.
If any one stands tremendously benefitted financially due to the long drawn controversies, it is none other than Bansali himself. Agreed, there was police bandobast at each and every cinema hall because of the fear of some trouble which however was nowhere to be seen.
What follows from the controversies and the cause of generating controversies deliberately indulged in with a particular section of the population always remains that it is the centre of controversaries which stands benefitted.
People have now reasons to believe that in most of the cases it is the understanding with the agitationists to take to streets and generate more controversies to make the venture earn in unbelievable proportions.Otherwise the people should have not watched the movie at all to inflict the cost of what they call playing with the sentiments of the people and instead express peaceful and legally teneble protest.
