JAMMU, Apr 19: Former General Secretary Association of Industries Gangyal KK Khosa said that package of incentives will prove critical to the survival and growth of the decades old SSI sector and infuse a fresh lease of life.
In a statement, KK Khosa added that this will also ensure that no retrenchment takes place and the livelihood of thousands of existing workers remains safe and secure.
“The sector is thankful to the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary Jammu and Kashmir BVR Subrahmanyam for tailoring this package”, he said, adding that the Sector is also grateful to entire Industries Department including the Commissioner Secretary and the Director Industry who have played a very vital role in the framing of the package.
