RAJOURI, Apr 19: The police today arrested a drug-peddler from Behrot area of Thanamandi and recovered some quantity of heroin from his possession.
Official sources said that District Police Rajouri during naka checking intercepted one person near Behrot today and during his frisking, recovered about 6 gms of heroin from his possession.
He was identified as Tahir alias Tahir Kana, son of Abdul Salam, a resident of Behrot. The police registered a case FIR No. 62/2021 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS at Police Station, Thanamandi in this connection. Further investigation was in progress.
