SAMBA, Oct 2: Vijaypur police has arrested an owner of a general store at National Highway in Jogpul near Vijaypur for selling liquor on the dry day today.
The Police team led by SHO Vijaypur Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of SDPO, S S Samyal conducted the raid of the general store and recovered 24 bottles of liquor from there.
The owner of general store identified as Rattan Chand was arrested and a case under relevant sections of the law was registered against him. The shopkeeper was selling liquor without a license and that too on a dry day.
