POONCH, July 6: The Indian authorities sent back one truck goods of sub-standard quality back to Pok while three other trucks retained when Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point was opened for the trade today.
A total four truck goods loaded with dry dates, almond and embroidery items arrived here from the PoK. One truck loaded with dry dates of sub-standard quality was sent back. The value of goods arriving here from PoK was put at Rs 74.93 lakh.
Six trucks loaded with herbs, chilli and banana were sent to PoK side by the traders from here today. The value of goods was put at Rs 95.73 lakh.
Paramjit Singh from Indian side and Arshed Mehmood from Pak side were deployed as Trade Facilitation Officers.
