One more theft case solved by police, tractor-trolley recovered

KATHUA, Sept 23: In continuation to drive launched by District Police Kathua against thefts and vehicles lifters operating in district, another success under the overall supervision of SSP, R C Kotwal was achieved by police which recovered one stolen vehicle Tractor along with Trolley.
Police said on August 30 a complaint by one Maskeen Ali, son of Noor Mohammad of Domar tehsil and district, Kathua was lodged at Police Station (PS) Lakhanpur stating therein that during the intervening night of 01/02.08.2022 some unknown thieves stolen away one Splendor Black Colour Motorcycle which he has parked outside his house near Satwain.
A case FIR No. 69/2022 U/S 379/IPC was registered at PS Lakhanpur and investigation started. During the course of investigation one person namely Mohd Alkaz, son of Peer Mohammad Shah of Dungara got arrested. On his disclosure, one Tractor along with Trolley was recovered by police team of PS Lakhanpur and a case vide FIR No. 66/2022 U/S 379/IPC was registered at PS Billawar while Kathua Police has launched a manhunt for other persons involved.
During the investigation of case vide FIR No. 69/2022 U/S 379 /IPC of PS Lakhanpur one more recovery of the Tractor alongwith Trolley which was stolen in the jurisdiction of PS Billawar made by incharge Police Post (PP) Basantpur, SI Sanjeet Singh, SHO PS Lakhanpur Inspector, Vijay Kotwal under the guidance of DySP, DAR Kathua, Sukhdev Singh.
It is pertinent to mention here that Motorcycles were also seized U/S 102 CrPC in the jurisdiction of PS Lakhanpur.
