UDHAMPUR, Dec 29: One died and two others injured in different road mishaps here today.
A Van bearing number JK14E-6018 rolled down into a deep gorge killing a youth near Chaka Morh.
The vehicle was on its way from Sudhmahdev to Sarar when the driver lost control over it.
Police and locals shifted the injured to Sub District Hospital Chenani where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was identified as Abdul (27) son of Abhi Gujjar resident of Sarar.
Police has registered a case and started investigations.
Meanwhile, two motorcyclists were injured after hit by some unknown Truck at village Garnai bypass National Highway Udhampur this evening.
As per police report, a motorcycle bearing number JK14C-4922 while on its way from Tikri to Udhampur faced mishap near Garnai bypass.
Rehambal police rush the spot and took the injured to District Hospital.
Meanwhile, doctors referred the injured to GMC Jammu.
The injured were identified as Jugal Kumar (24) son of Beli Ram of Kadia Tanas, Chanani and Kiran Devi (19) daughter of Bittu Ram of Jakhani.
Meanwhile, a young woman committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence here last night.
She has been identified as Jyoti Devi (28) wife of Ajay Kumar of Flora Majalta.
Meanwhile, police has found a dead body under mysterious circumstances at Gole Mela, Udhampur.
The deceased has been identified as Bittu Ram (40) son of Billu Ram of Kither, Chenani.
