KATHUA, July 1: One member of a marriage party died after hit by a shooting stone at Bachan in Bani tehsil of Kathua district late last night.
He has been identified as Jia Lal, S/o Ishwar Dass of Barhi. Reports said that Jia Lal was the member of the marriage band party and he was along with his team with a marriage party from Duggal to Bachan. After reaching near Bachan a shooting stone from the hill hit him on his head resulting in his instant death. He was rushed to SDH, Bani where doctors declared him as brought dead. The Bani Police has registered a case under Section 174 and started investigation.
