RAJOURI, Nov 28: One person was killed while two others were injured when a Tata Magic vehicle rolled down into a gorge near Fetehpur in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when Tata Magic bearing registration No. JK-11/6368, was on way to a nearby village from Rajouri. The road was narrow and a Matador No. JK-11/8288 coming from backside, blew horn to cross the vehicle. In the process, the Tata Magic vehicle driver got confused and lost control on the vehicle and it landed into a gorge.
While one passenger was killed on the spot two others were injured in the mishap. The deceased was identified as 60-year-old Mohd Iqbal, son of Sannaullah, resident of Dudasan Pain. The injured Taleem Hussain (driver), son of Mohd Bashir resident of Dudasan and Nusrat Parveen, hailing from Fatehpur, were admitted to District Hospital, Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
