2-day workshop on ‘Innovation in Pedagogy’ concludes

JAMMU, Nov 28: Two-day workshop on the topic ‘Innovation in Pedagogy’ concluded at Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Jammu Cantt.
The workshop was inaugurated on November 26 by AVLJ Rao, Deputy Commissioner, KVS JR accompanied by AS Gill, Assistant Commissioner, KVS JR and Dr DR Meena, Assistant Commissioner.
The morning session of day one was taken up by AVLJ Rao. He spoke on the topic ‘Blended Learning Styles’ and enriched the 101 teachers from 53 KVs of Jammu region. The second session was taken up by Dr DR Meena, who instructed the teachers how to design lesson plan.
AS Gill took interactive session on ‘Multiple Intelligence’. He spoke on how to deal students of different intelligence in a class.
On day two, the first session was taken up by Dr DR Meena. He spoke on development of different types of comprehensive abilities. AS Gill took second session and spoke on Concept Mapping.  A very interactive session was taken up by AVLJ Rao on ILE and learning principles, innovation pedagogy, etc.
The workshop concluded with vote of thanks by Rita Bhaskar, officiating principal, KV No 2, Jammu Cantt.
