Srinagar, Nov 28: A day long free medical camp was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police in collaboration with Health Department in Nishat area here in which free medicines and consultancy was arranged by Police Hospital today.
A police spokesman said more than 650 patients were seen and treated by a team of prominent doctors from Police Hospital Srinagar in the camp. “Free medicines were given to the patients by the team of Police Hospital, Unani and Ayurvedic medicines. Diabetic Scanning of 187 patients was also done on spot by the team of doctors,” he said.
“The team of the doctors included Surgeon Specialist Dr Irshad Kuchay, Pediatrician Dr Abdul Rashid, Ophthalmologist Dr S M Farooq and Medical Officers Dr Huma Noor, Dr. Maimoona and Dr. Shafiqat Nazir,” the police spokesman added.
