JAMMU, Jan 23: Post Graduate Department of Punjabi, University of Jammu organized one day national seminar on the topic “Punjabi Sahit De Samkali Sarokar” here today.
Prof Neelam Saraf, Dean Academic Affairs, University of Jammu was the chief guest of the programme and Prof Parvinder Kour, Head of the Department presided over the function.
The scholars and students highlighted the cultural, mythological and scientific importance and relevance of philosophy in the present scenario.
Prof Neelam Saraf spoke on Punjabi history and literature. Prof Baldev Singh Dhaliwal in his presidential address highlighted the various aspects of fiction as how fiction itself is Actual history. Prof Gurmeet Singh and Dr Baljinder Singh highlighted the importance of dramas as well as threatre concerns.
Dr Baljeet Kour, senior Assistant Professor of the Department conducted the proceeding of the function and Dr Harbhajan Singh, Assistant Professor presented the vote of thanks. Harjinder Singh and Dr Pritam Singh also assisted the programme.
