One biker killed, another injured in collision of motorcycles

UDHAMPUR, Nov 10: In a collision of two motorcycles at Sial Salan, here today, one biker died while the other one sustained critical injuries.
The deceased was identified as Rajan Kumar (30), son of Amar Chand of Sangoor while the injured Vijay Kumar (28), son of Ganesh Dutt resident of near Post office Udhampur, has been admitted to District Hospital Udhampur.
Reports said that the collision took place this evening and the locals rushed both the injured bikers to District Hospital Udhampur. In view of his serious condition, Rajan Kumar was referred to GMC Hospital Jammu where he succumbed to his injuries. Condition of other injured, admitted at DH Udhampur, was stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, another victim of yesterday’s car accident near Kanth Gali Panchari, succumbed to his injuries at GMC Hospital Jammu taking death toll in the mishap to two.
The Alto car bearing registration number JK14G-0806 and carrying four persons, was on its way from Panchari to Udhampur when it rolled down into deep gorge near Kanth Gali yesterday. The injured persons were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu where one of the victims, namely Balwan (40), son of Shankar Dass of village Pathi, Panchari, died soon after the admission.
In the late night yesterday, another victim of the accident, identified as Balwan Singh (34), son of Rumal Singh of village Pathi, Panchari, also succumbed to his injuries, taking the death toll to two. Other injured, undergoing treatment at GMC Hospital Jammu, are Hem Raj (45), son of Panjabu and Ravi Kumar (25), son of Prakash Chand of Pathi.
