JAMMU, Apr 2: The All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) today expressed the hope that the new coalition Government which will be sworn on April 4 will provide justice to the OBCs in the State who are struggling for 27 percent reservation as per Mandal Commission recommendations for years together.
The Union general secretary Prof Kali Dass while addressing the meeting of the Union also expressed the hope that the new coalition will also take appropriate steps in reactivating the State OBC-Advisory & Development Board and make it properly functional by appointing its vice chairman.
The meeting is hopeful that the new Government in the State will work on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s doctrine Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas by giving the State OBCs their due share in all spheres of life and by giving a representation to OBC in Upper House under Art 50 (6) of the J&K Constitution.
