OBC Morcha delegation meets Chairman Backward Classes

JAMMU, Feb 8: On the directions of Braham Jyot Satti, president BJP OBC Morcha JK, a deputation of OBCs led Rajkumar Tarkhan, general secretary of Morcha met G.D Sharma, Chairman J&K Socially & Educationally Backward Classes Commission and discussed various issues and demands of OBCs regarding reservation quota.
The deputation also submitted a memorandum to the Chairman who assured to forward it to the higher authorities to resolve the issues as early as possible.
In a handout Braham Jyot said that reservation of OBCs should be increased from 4 per cent to 27 per cent as is there in other States and UTs of the country.
He also said that OBCs form a patriotic community and always stands for nation’s well being.
Satti also said that Morcha is always available for the needy people and if anyone needs any kind of help, he/she can contact the Morcha district president of that area.
Apart from this the Morcha also organized a number of public programmes where members of OBCs approached Morcha regarding their problems.
